Wild Coyote Farm website

Wild Coyote Farm is a Certified Organic family farm in Berrien Springs, in Southwest Michigan. It is run by the Meulemans family, first-generation farmers who began farming full time in 2018. Paul left work in business and construction to pursue regenerative agriculture, and Shelli, a registered dietitian and former corporate wellness coach, joined the farm full time after their first daughter was born that same year.

The farm grows hundreds of varieties of vegetables, greens and herbs, along with melons, berries and flowers. It also raises pastured chickens for eggs and meat, grass-fed beef and lamb, and offers wool and sheep products.

The Meulemans describe their approach as organic, regenerative and sustainable, working with nature rather than against it. They use no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or GMOs, and they grow in the soil rather than hydroponically. Cover crops, crop rotation, rotational grazing of their animals and a focus on biodiversity and carbon storage in the soil are all part of how they farm. Customers can buy from the farm store, join a produce share, or have food delivered from the farm.
